The Innopet Hercules 2.0 is a sizeable dog pram: ideal for our arthritic Labrador. It’s well made and most of the design is spot on: no step over at rear that might trip the dog, large pneumatic rear wheels make it easy to push and can cope with most uneven terrain, fabric is durable as are zip closures, useful fitted waterproof cover, small central front wheel aids manoeuvrability. Two possible improvements: the rear wheels can lock using foot operated lever but this requires interlocking with spines on inner of rear wheels which can require movement back and forth to engage properly: this can disturb a nervous dog when loading or unloading. And secondly the push buttons used to remove the rear wheels are quite difficult to reach as they are under the rear of the body on each side. Awkward if you are in a hurry. But worth emphasising the product is excellent overall

I got the Hercules 2.0 for my 30kg Bernese Mountain Dog, Berta, while she is recovering from a leg sprain and needs to avoid walking long distances on hard surfaces. I initially planned to just push her around the living room to let her get used to it. She settled into it so quickly that we ended up going straight out for an hour-long walk, and she absolutely loved it. What impressed me most was how easy it is to push and steer with a large dog inside. I had previously tried a cheaper large dog wagon which became extremely difficult to manoeuvre once Berta was in it, so the difference with the Hercules was immediately obvious. It feels stable, the large wheels cope well with pavements, and Berta has plenty of room to sit comfortably and look around. Being able to take her out properly while still resting her injured leg has made a huge difference. She gets the stimulation and enjoyment of a normal walk without me having to carry a 30kg dog around London. After our first proper outing, Berta was very happy, and so was I. Excellent piece of kit.
